Crush the Conversation

Take turns sharing your character crush, which is different from a celebrity crush. Think Don Draper as opposed to Jon Hamm. And highlight personality traits instead of physical attributes when describing your attraction. For example, “He’s fearless” instead of “He’s tall and dark-haired.” This will help ease what might feel, at first, like an uncomfortable or threatening conversation. Go back and forth a few times asking questions and keeping an open mind.
